I picked up the May issue of The Simple Things magazine in Copenhagen airport and it’s stayed the top of my ever increasing magazine pile ever since!
The Simple Things is the magazine I wish I started reading years ago.
The Simple Things Magazine for the Simple Life
The Simple Things magazine is the magazine I wish I started reading years ago. Every page is crammed with outdoor ideas, recipes, modern furniture and decorating pictures and arty things to do. I never thought I’d find another magazine that I’d want to voraciously read the back issues like I did with Oh Comely, but this is it!
Summer Vibes
I read May and June’s issues back to back and they totally immersed me in summer vibes. With titles like ‘Watching Wimbledon & eating strawberries’ and ‘Tea in bed with a long weekend ahead’ I couldn’t be more on board with the aim of The Simple Things issues!
Much Loved Project with Passionate Creators
I could tell as I read The Simple Things that it was no half-hearted attempt to churn out an independent magazine, but it was a much loved project with passionate people involved. Little touches like sheets of ‘Mindful Colouring’ included in June’s issue, travel articles to interesting places, and articles about Thames river boats that were open during National Gardens Scheme convinced me that The Simple Things knew their target reader (me!).
If you’re looking for a relaxing magazine stuffed with beautiful pictures, short articles and indispensable tips for days out in the countryside, home design, and weekend away ideas look no further than The Simple Things – you might just love it like I do!
I bought The Simple Things from Magazine Brighton, Brighton, BN1 4EQ.
